At Chuco, we live and breathe Tanium — and we have a track record to prove it. If you’re looking to put Tanium to the test before investing in broad adoption of the platform as a managed service, we have a no-risk path to validating its real-world capabilities in your specific IT environment.
When we engage, our team will work with yours to tackle any or all of the projects/tasks offered through this program on up to 50 workstations and 5 servers (complete list below). And with that foundation, we’ll have the understanding and tools in place to scale success quickly across your broader environment, should you wish to move from trial validation to production as an ongoing managed service delivered by Chuco.
We jointly define key tasks, objectives and projects, selecting from the MSP Trial menu (see below).
Our team works with yours to stand up Tanium, carry out defined tasks, and generate a report on ROI.
After the trial, we’ll rapidly extend Tanium software across your broader IT environment, and start scoping long term goals.
We’ll closely manage your long term Tanium success, adopting new objectives and new product modules as needed — as part of a Chuco MSP engagement.
Chuco and Tanium have partnered to offer qualified organizations a zero-cost trial program. With software courtesy of Tanium, and services provided by our expert consultants, we can deliver real-world Tanium magic in just one month — from scoping to success in 30 days.
As an independent voice and advocate, our clients trust us to guide them on best practices for implementing and integrating Tanium in the ways best suited to maximize their short term ROI and long term success.
To give you a quick and clear demonstration of Tanium in practice, we’ve created a broad menu of trial activities, any or all of which we can work to tackle in your organization as part of a 30 Day Tanium Trial Program:
See how it fits into your environment before committing. Get full access for 30 days to explore the platform, test workflows, and evaluate the impact with your team, no long-term commitment required.
Reach out to Chuco to schedule a scoping conversation. We’ll discuss your environment, endpoint count, current pain points, and which operational tasks from the trial menu align with your priorities. From there, we coordinate with Tanium on the software, plan the agent deployment with your team, and lock in a 30-day execution window. Most organizations go from initial conversation to trial kickoff within days.
Tanium’s real-time architecture means you’ll start seeing data from your endpoints as soon as the agent is deployed, often within the first few days of the trial. Patching results, inventory data, and compliance visibility begin flowing immediately. The full value materializes over the 30-day window as your team and ours work through the defined tasks, but the initial visibility alone tends to surface findings that justify the engagement. By the end of the trial, you’ll have a complete ROI report and a clear operational picture of what Tanium can do at scale.
The trial offers a menu of operational tasks that you and Chuco select from together during the scoping phase. The available categories include OS patching and migration (patch all workstations, patch up to 5 test servers, pre- and post-patching reporting, and Windows 10 to Windows 11 migration on up to 5 workstations), third-party software management (upgrading browsers like Chrome, Edge, and Firefox, upgrading conferencing tools like Zoom and Webex, and installing or upgrading security tools), software and hardware inventory (comprehensive asset inventory, automated reporting, and software usage reporting for tools like Adobe, AutoCAD, and Microsoft), and security vulnerability and compliance (overall compliance visibility, vulnerability and compliance risk assessment with reporting, and identification of unmanaged devices). You choose any or all of these based on what matters most to your organization.
The trial covers up to 50 workstations and 5 servers. This gives you enough scale to see Tanium operating in a real production context, across different OS versions, hardware configurations, and network segments, without requiring a full enterprise rollout.
Yes. Security vulnerability and compliance are one of the four task categories available during the trial. This includes overall compliance visibility across your trial endpoints, a vulnerability and compliance risk assessment with reporting, and identification of unmanaged devices on your network. For organizations in regulated industries, such as healthcare, financial services, and others facing audit pressure, this is often the highest-priority task selected during the scoping phase.
