Why Chuco?

The Founding Story Matters Here

Chuco was founded in 2016 by Kevin Chu, who spent years inside Tanium as Vice President of Technology and Head of Technical Account Management before building an independent practice. He wasn’t the only one; several of Chuco’s core team are Tanium alumni who worked in product engineering and customer success during the platform’s early enterprise growth years.

That origin shapes how Chuco works in ways that are hard to replicate. We understand how Tanium’s Autonomous Endpoint Management platform was designed, not just how to configure it, but the reasoning behind its architecture and what that means for how environments need to be built to perform reliably at scale.

It also means Chuco has working relationships across Tanium’s business, technical, and support leadership. When a client needs something escalated or a product issue is affecting an engagement, we know the right people and how to move quickly, as an independent partner, with no conflict of interest.

The Tanium partner that focuses solely on Tanium and has the track record to show it.

Most IT consulting firms that offer Tanium also support a dozen other platforms. For those firms, Tanium is a capability. For Chuco, it’s the entire practice. As a Tanium Premier Partner and one founded by people who came from inside Tanium itself, we bring a depth of specialization that generalist partners simply aren’t structured to develop.

What that means in practice: faster deployments, fewer configuration mistakes that surface six months post go-live, and a partner that can advocate for you inside Tanium’s own organization when it matters.

What Singular Focus Actually Produces

Over 100 enterprise organizations across financial services, insurance, retail, manufacturing, automotive, and technology have deployed Tanium with Chuco. Each of those engagements contributes to a body of knowledge that is difficult to build any other way, how Tanium behaves in air-gapped environments, which configuration patterns create problems at 200,000 endpoints that weren’t visible at 20,000, how compliance requirements in regulated industries affect module sequencing.

That accumulated experience is what Chuco brings to every new engagement before the first architecture conversation happens. It’s less about any individual consultant’s credentials and more about what the practice has seen and learned across a decade of doing only this.

Full endpoint operations, delivered as a service.

Tanium regularly recommends Chuco to enterprise customers navigating complex deployments. That relationship exists because of a track record built across environments ranging from regional mid-markets to global enterprises.

How Chuco Thinks About Accountability

Full endpoint operations, delivered as a service.

In most of Chuco’s engagements, consultants work directly in client environments, not writing recommendations for internal teams to execute, but doing the work. That hands-on posture is part of how Chuco is structured, and it reflects a view that accountability means owning what you commit to, not just advising on it.

In Managed AEM engagements, that accountability is written into the contract: patch compliance rates, CVE remediation SLAs, software reclamation targets. These are measurable outcomes defined before the statement of work is signed, not retrospective metrics. Chuco’s commercial structure includes outcome bonuses tied to tool consolidation and reclamation results, an alignment of incentives that only makes sense if you’re confident in what you’re going to deliver.
